报告题目： Kernel Impact on Affine Algebraic Monoids

报告摘要：Let M be an irreducible affine algebraic monooid, G its unit group, ker(M) its minimal (two-sided) semigroup-theoretical ideal and R_u(G) the unipotent radical of G.  The data of ker(M) is of significant impact on G and M. E.g., there is close structure connection between ker(M) and R_u(G). Some relevant problems about decompositions of R_u(G) and regularity of M are also discussed.

报告人简介：黄文学，于1995年在加拿大西安大略大学获数学PhD。 现为广州大学教授，博士生导师。主要研究领域为数据挖掘、数据科学、代数群与幺半群、结合代数、微分几何与拓扑，并在国际学术杂志和会议文集发表了20多篇有关上述领域的学术论文；是两个国际数据挖掘杂志编委；曾任加拿大数据挖掘公司（Generation 5）首席科学家和York大学兼职教授十余年。
