报告题目:Carbon-based Electrocatalysts for Hydrogen Evolution Reaction Modulated by Nonmetal Doping and Embedded Metals

报告内容:Hydrogen generation through electrolysis of water offers an attractive avenue to store energy from renewable sources such as the sun, which has been attracting increasingly intense attentions. Exploring the low cost, high catalytic stability in acidic electrolyte and high electrocatalytic acitivties of HER catalysts still remains a major challenge.Recently, nonmetal doped carbon and carbon coated transition-metal nanoparticles have been widely investigated as catalysts for HER. Metal nanoparticles encapsulated in porous carbon structure not only ensures that the metals can’t be dissolved in acidic electrolyte but also enhance the HER activity via the synergistic effect between metal and carbon. In additions, nonmetal doping led to marked changes of the electronic energy structures and enhanced adsorption of H atoms on the catalysts
报告人简介:周伟家,男,2012年毕业于山东大学晶体材料国家重点实验室。2013年入职华南理工大学,环境与能源学院,新能源研究所。主要研究方向包括:1. 过渡金属-碳基和钼基电催化剂设计合成及光电催化解水性能研究;2. 超级电容器三维多级电极构建及性能调控研究。发表SCI学术论文30余篇(包括Energy Environ. Sci.两篇,Nano energy 一篇),总被引次数800余次,其中SCI高引论文3篇。
